What do a movie star, football champion, major league baseball player and nearly 6000 people have in common? They are expected to turn out for the Southern California Cannabis Conference & Expo (SCCCE) in San Diego on Aug. 6 & 7. Presented by Let’s Educate a Future, the conference and expo will feature hundreds of exhibitors and educational talks and sessions on topics such as advances in research, opioid addiction, hemp, legality, emerging markets, canna-business opportunities and medical benefits of cannabis. Whoopi Goldberg will present the event’s keynote address other A-listers scheduled to speak throughout the two-day event.
An Academy Award-winning actress/producer and entrepreneur, Whoopi Goldberg has been one of the cannabis movement’s most ardent supporters and her company, Whoopi & Maya, recently launched a signature line of medicinal products created especially for women to ease discomfort of menstrual cycles. Her keynote address takes place on Sunday, August 7th at 6:00 p.m.

Other high-profile speakers scheduled for the SCCCE include MLB World Series winner Josh Kinney, NFL Super Bowl champion Marvin Washington and medical experts such as Dr. Stuart Titus, CEO of Medical Marijuana Inc. and renowned pain specialist, Dr. David Tonkin, among others.
