In our quest to learn more about cannabis, we speak with a lot of people. Some are seasoned experts, and some are newcomers to the cannabis industry who are learning to navigate through the ever-changing legal landscape.
What we’ve noticed is that those who are most successful in this business share a common quality: Passion. This is especially true of my guest Liz Valentine, the owner of Green Star Doctors in Phoenix, Arizona.
As a seasoned user and one of the earliest pioneers of the modern marijuana movement, Liz applies her exceptional knowledge to guide patients through the medical marijuana licensing process and educate them about how to buy and use marijuana to treat their own medical conditions.
More importantly, she plays a vital role in helping new medical marijuana patients overcome the stigma that has been ingrained in our culture for generations. This is especially true of young people, who intuitively gravitate toward cannabis, for reasons they may not be entirely sure at the time. Unfortunately, the often must deal with the shame and fear associated with prior parental pressure to “just say no” to drugs, despite knowing marijuana is helping them cope with the angst of adolescence and other common teenage ailments.
As you’ll soon hear, Liz Valentine has a unique perspective on why. We hope you enjoy the interview.
