About This Episode
New groundbreaking discoveries about therapeutic and curative applications of medical cannabis are a daily occurrence lately. It seems, the more scientists learn, the more it becomes apparent how little is really known about it. What is evident by now is that cannabis is a powerful healing tool for conditions that have yet to respond to conventional treatment. We also know that humans are equipped with an endogenous cannabinoid system, which means our bodies need certain molecules that can only be found in cannabis to stay healthy.
For those of us craving information about ways cannabis can work to make us healthier, now is the time to harvest all there is to learn. Since no two human bodies are alike, cannabis affects everyone differently. Knowledge is power, which is why the science of genetic testing is so useful, not only to inform cannabis therapy on an individual basis, but also help a new generation medical providers understand why cannabis is so important to human health.
Our guests are on the leading edge of genetic testing for therapeutic cannabis applications and talk about the fascinating medical discoveries using genome mapping as a basis for determining the impact cannabinoids will have on their patients. You’ll meet them right after Dr. Bryan Doner’s Medical Marijuana Minute
